Hi, we’re Perch (previously known as WTA Realty), an apartment locating and residential sales brokerage based in Austin, Texas. We’ve been helping Texas residents find their perfect apartment to call home since 1987. We currently serve Austin, San Marcos, San Antonio, and their surrounding areas with hopes to expand across Texas in the near future. 

Over the past 36 years, we’ve opened 8 offices, signed over 230 thousand leases, and currently have 205 apartment-locating experts on our team! We are dedicated to taking the stressing and guessing out of apartment hunting (and maybe making it just a little more fun than it should be.) 

The best part? Our apartment-locating services are completely free. Yep, you heard that right.

Here at Perch, we see our clients as more than just a potential commission check. We help people find apartments that fit their budget and needs, even if the apartment is outside of our property partnerships. In the end, we just want to help you find the place that makes you happiest.

Meet Kinza Azmat, our fearless leader and Perch CEO. 

As a Pakistani immigrant, no one understands the importance of finding your home more than Kinza. After moving to the United States as a child, home began to take on a lot of different meanings to her. 

“As an immigrant, home was often a new place, whether country, neighborhood, or apartment.”

Kinza is passionate about helping renters feel seen and heard as much as homeowners. She knows that having a place to call home is a crucial part of growth and making progress in every aspect of our lives. That’s why in 2022, Kinza acquired WTA Realty and rebranded the company as Perch. Because home means something a little different to everyone.
